[2017-18 NBA Preview] Oklahoma City Thunder

The NBA season is almost here. While the majority of people think the NBA season is already over before it even begins (let’s just go ahead and crown the Golden State Warriors right now, right?). we still have to let the season play out because YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN, RIGHT?

What if the Warriors are involved in some kind of freak accident and everyone gets hurt?

Well, the league just opened up for all 29 other teams to win the whole thing.

Even though I personally believe it would take a plane wreck to take the Warriors down, there are some NBA teams out there that think they have the tools and weapons to do exactly that.

Are the Oklahoma City Thunder one of those team? If anyone in the Western Conference can do it, it might be these guys. Last year, we were all introduced to Russell “FUCK EVERYONE ELSE” Westbrook V2 and it was glorious. He didn’t have much help and he put the OKC Thunder on his back and took them to the playoffs. Yeah, they didn’t do much from there…but this is a different year and this man has some help now. Paul George was traded over from Indiana. No one knows where his head is at long-term (LA?), but in the short-term, he’s going to help this team big-time. And if that wasn’t enough, the Thunder also managed to swindle the New York Knicks in a trade and bring over the unhappy Carmelo Anthony as well. Now, I don’t know how good this Thunder team is going to be this year. I have my concerns with some things (chemistry and depth namely), but you can’t deny the fact that this team is going to be a fun one to watch this year. Russell Westbrook in the locker room every night giving pep talks to Paul George and Carmelo about how they need to destroy the evil Kevin Durant and his Warrior regime is going to give us NBA fans a lot of good shit to watch on the court this year.

But does this Thunder team finally have the pieces to compete with the Warriors???

LET’S FIND OUT!!!!!!!!!
