Three Things I Like About The Broncos This Season:

-The Defense: This goes without saying. The defense is going to be the main reason the Denver Broncos win any football games this year. It was just a few years ago that this defense lead the Broncos to a Super Bowl win and while they aren’t on the same level they were then…this is still a very dangerous unit. If the Broncos are able to sneak into the playoffs this year, it will be because these guys once again played their asses off.

-Wide Receivers: Denver is pretty disgusting on offense. However, the one spot where they are not lacking on fire power is the wide receiver position. Both Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders are damn good football players who could play on my favorite team any day of the week. Now, if they could just find someone who can throw them the ball…..

-Matt Paradis: Not exactly sure what happened to Denver’s young Center last season, but the Broncos will want more of it for sure. Paradis turned a corner last year and was easily one of the NFL’s best offensive lineman. For a team that is lacking some good offensive lineman, Paradis’ development was a big bonus. If he gets even better this year, it’s possible that the Broncos see some improved play out of their QB position this season. Remember, I said “IT’S POSSIBLE”!

Three Things I Hate About The Broncos This Season:

-The Quarterback Situation: Denver has a decent roster. Unfortunately for them, their main weakness is also the most important part of a successful football team in the NFL. The Broncos are atrocious at the QB position. Trevor Siemian sucks and last year’s first-round draft pick Paxton Lynch can’t seem to beat him out for the spot. This is a nightmare situation for Broncos fans. Like I said, they have a decent roster and if they could get any kind of decent play out of the QB position, they would be a playoff team. Since Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch are currently behind Center, the Broncos will be outside of the playoffs looking in. What is Colin Kaepernick doing these days anyway?

-Defensive Line: Thankfully the Broncos have Derek Wolfe and some damn good linebackers because otherwise they would be screwed. Denver has absolutely no depth on the defensive line and 2 out of their starters are garbage football players. This is something Vance Joseph needs to fix immediately.

-Vance Joseph: Nothing against Vance Joseph as I’m sure he’s a fine guy, but I have my doubts that he can be a successful NFL head coach. The Broncos have a roster that is still ready to compete today. In my opinion, they should have went out and got an established head coach. Now they are bringing in a guy who has been a defensive back coach his entire career, until last year where he spent only one season as the Dolphins defensive coordinator. What has he really shown to everyone that he can be a successful NFL head coach? It’s more likely than not that the Broncos will be hiring a new coach within the next 3-5 years, as statistics show. With the offensive problems that the Broncos have, they should have targeted an offensive minded guy to help make up for the lack of quality players on that side of the ball. This hiring was just confusing to me.

The Prediction:

6-10
