Is this NBA season even worth playing or should we just gift wrap the title and give it to the Golden State Warriors so we don’t waste our time? I mean, this isn’t even fair people. Last year’s Golden State Warriors team was the “best team in NBA history”. They finished with a regular season record of 73-9 and came up just short of winning back-t0-back NBA titles. The good news is, Kevin Durant is arguably one of the best players in the NBA and he signed with the Golden State Warriors in the off-season in an effort to bring another title to the Bay Area. The bad news is….there is none. This team is going to be freaking fantastic.

The biggest question surrounding the Warriors heading into this season is….how good will they be? They are constantly going to be compared to last year’s team and if they don’t break their own NBA record for most wins in the regular season, it will be a little bit of a disappointment in my eyes. Why? Because with the subtraction of Harrison Barnes and the addition of Durant, the Warriors are a better team than they were last season. The loss of Andrew Bogut could hurt this team more than they think, but Zaza Pachulia is a good player who should fill in nicely for Bogut.

So, how good will the Warriors be this season? Can they spread the ball around enough to keep Curry, Klay, and Durant happy all-year? If this team starts losing, how will it affect these guys? Can Draymond Green and Durant get along or will we see some in-house fighting and some nuts getting kicked? On paper, everything looks cozy in Golden State. But how will it all look once the NBA season starts? I can’t wait personally.
