Dustin James’ 2016 Fantasy Football Rankings

It’s August and we all know what that means…..

football-fantasy-gif

That’s right Manning brothers! It’s time for some fantasy football. As everyone is preparing for their upcoming drafts, it’s good to read as many rankings as you can, that way you have a good idea on how all the “experts” are feeling heading into the season.

Yesterday, our very own fantasy football expert Steve Cook went ahead and gave us his own pre-season rankings and they were fantastic. However, as we all know, everyone has their own opinion and it’s time for me to share mine!

The main reason I’m doing this is because I constantly get asked by friends and other random people fantasy questions ALL THE TIME. Apparently just because I’m a huge football nerd, run a blog that focuses a lot on the wonderful world of football, and play a TON of fantasy football….I’m an “expert” on fantasy football as well.

So, here you go everyone. Don’t send me questions in my Facebook Messenger. Stop DMing me on Twitter asking me if I would take “DeAndre Hopkins over Dez Bryant”. Here are your answers. If I was drafting a team TODAY, this is the cheat sheet that I would use. You’re welcome……

(Just so you know, I do my rankings in a non-traditional fashion. I only rank one starter per team because those guys are guaranteed to get some snaps. Also, since all fantasy leagues allow multiple WR’s, I went ahead and ranked the current #2 WR’s on every team’s NFL depth chart so you know who’s in line to get some snaps)
