NFL Head Coach Rankings

Football is my favorite sport for plenty of reasons. I absolutely love all the action and everything that goes into the game. What a lot of average fans may not know about the game of football is how much intelligence actually goes into it all.

When you sit down and watch your favorite team play on Sunday, it can look like two teams playing a violent game of “car crash”. But there’s more to what happens on-the-field than we get to see as average spectators. It’s called the “Brain Game” that goes on between the coaching staffs of both teams.

It may sound silly to some, but I love comparing football to war. In war, you have a general who is leading everyone and making all the calls. If shit goes bad, it’s usually that guys fault more often than not. He has a battle plan for his soldiers as they go into battle against another general who has a battle plan of his own.

That is the game of football to me. A battle of intelligence mixed in with some athleticism and in the game of football perhaps no position is more important than that of the head coach. He’s the guy who makes the calls. He’s the guy who builds the game-plan to defeat the other team. He’s the guy who hires the staff to help him make decisions. He’s the guy who helps formulate his “squad” for the year.

Coaching is important in every sport, but to me….it’s most important in the game of football. That’s why I have decided to go ahead and rank every single coach in the NFL. NFL football is just a little over a month away from returning (!!!!) and it’s time to buckle in and start preparing ourselves for the season ahead.

Want to know how good your favorite team will be next season? This list is a good barometer. Have a shitty head coach? Your favorite team is probably going to have a top 10 pick in the NFL Draft next April. Have a good coach? See you in the playoffs.

ANYWAY, LET’S GET READY TO FUUUUUUUUMMMMBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEE!!!!
